The restaurant is a little small, but they make the layout work. The food was good, the mimosas and sangria are bottomless, and the background music was pleasant. The staff was friendly and tried to be attentive to our needs. I'd go back again.
Had a wonderful birthday brunch with hubby this past Sunday. Food was delicious, great ambiance and service was very good! Live jazz music added an extra touch to the experience.
We recently booked my mothers 60th birthday there. The staff, food and atmosphere were spectacular. Brandon was so patient and professional. He was a joy to work with. She had the best time and my family raved about how they enjoyed the music from Madam D. Thank you for such a nice time. Will definitely return.
This spot was recommended to me by a friend and Im glad i was able to swing in here for family dinner the night before my fathers funeral. There was live music that was a vibe, We sat outside with the fire pits. I love that there was also a bar outside. We ordered our drinks at the bar outside. Bartender was friendly and made a good drink. We also got to order food while sitting outside. We had the empanadas and the crab stuff mushrooms. Everything was good. Price point was good. be prepared to pay for valet parking if you cant find parking on the street. Overall it was a vibe, nice mixed crowd I could def see me coming back here with friends.
I loved this place and I LOVE jazz music! We were here on a Tuesday evening. My husband treated me to the evening as a retirement gift. I could not have asked for better!!! I love jazz and to be able to listen to it for an hour and a half without a break was pure "heaven." The group run by Sam Henkel (not sure if this is correct spelling) and fronted by Mike who announced all the music and got the group at the restaurant going was superb! Paul and I had a lovely table for two. The food and service was excellent. The wait staff led by TJ made sure that we had all that we needed at the table. The dishes we ordered were delicious - the steak was excellent and the vegetables were fresh. Our water glasses were always filled and each of us had a drink that we enjoyed. TJ was kind enough to take a picture. The gentleman doing the valet parking was kind as well and made sure that we were safe getting out of and back into the car. We will be back. The evening for me was magical and this club reminded me of some of the clubs that I would go to when I lived in NYC. I hope this place is around for a long time. Thank you to all for the great service, delicious food, and wonderful music!
Love this place! They have live jazz every night. Good quality jazz music ! $3 surcharge for jazz with your dinner. Service is superb, your water glass is always filled without asking. The empanadas are good, angel hair pasta with marinara is good too, very garlicky! Shrimp pizza is also too. We come here mostly for the live jazz music. The couple times we've dined here, there were always diners whose birthday or anniversary celebrations being announced by the band's front man. You can dress up or dress down , either way works . I don't think there is dress code.
Great food, nice staff , and amazing entertainment! This is the perfect place for a date night or girls night out.
I have been driving by this spot for years and always see a line on Sundays. Well now I finally know why! It's awesome here. Valet is available, but we found super close street parking. The staff was exceptional, the manager had a hospitable aura and made everyone feel welcomed. I brought a friend for her birthday and am so happy that I did. You make a reservation online and prepay or pay at the door. $65/person covers brunch buffet with unlimited drinks. I have food allergies and asked if I could have something different than orange juice for my mimosas. The bartender was very understanding and immediately offered me pineapple then brought a small pitcher to my table! A saxophonist plays throughout the experience which was uplifting and fun. The buffet is set up on the patio with another bar and the atmosphere is great out there. People were dancing and living their best life! I don't often eat soul food so I was excited for this menu. Lots of options available, definitely something for everyone. My favorites were the chicken empanadas and salmon lasagna. It has been a long time since I had fried chicken and sadly I did not enjoy it today. I love an omelette bar which was promoted online but didn't see the setup for that. Maybe I missed it. A photographer came around to take our pictures. We were thinking it was to promote the event. She later comes to the table with our pics in frames trying to sell them to us lol I hate she went through that much trouble. I took way better pics on my phone but I'm not mad at the hustle. She was not happy about not getting the sale and it showed. Overall I will gladly come again. I'd like to try an evening next time. I really enjoyed the vibe and the infectious positivity.
FINALLY made it on a Sunday, and the vibe was 10 stars. It was my family's last day in town and we had a BLAST! We reserved a table($10 per person fee) to make sure we had a se, t but we danced and stood up most of the time because the DJs were on point. 2 of my cousins had an issue with the wait, r but I didn't really understand what happened as I went outside to order my drinks. That bartender was kinda sl. He definitely needed some help, but he was nice, so it didn't really bother me. The only drawback for me is the food, its just not good. Maybe I'm ordering the wrong thing. Now I eat before coming. Drinks are always good! I'm definitely going back in a few weeks.
I moved back to LA this year. PIps never disappoints. Joshua was awesome. Looking forward my next visit.
